Apple’s U.S. online store and retail stores are now offering the new 23.7-inch LG UltraFine 4K Display, which is a replacement for the previously offered LG 4K and 5K displays.
The $699.95 display offers a resolution of 3840 x 2160, which is lower than the 4096 x 2304 resolution of the prior 21.5-inch 4K display from LG, but still qualifies as an Ultra HD resolution.
The UltraFine 4K Display, encased in a simple plastic body, features a 23.7-inch IPS panel, P3 wide color gamut, and 500 cd/m² of brightness. It boasts 8 million pixels, 4 times more than a typical 1080p HD display.
A single Thunderbolt 3 cable (included) provides up to 85W of charging power to a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports. The display includes two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, and you can use one to connect to another 4K display. Three downstream USB-C ports (5 Gbps) offer additional connectivity and power to compatible devices and accessories.
The 23.7-inch LG UltraFine 4K Display, which is a replacement for the previously offered LG 4K and 5K displays. is available from the Apple online store and many Apple retail stores across the United States. (Check your local Apple Store for availability.)
