Apple will debut macOS 10.15 at the keynote address for their annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, and its is widely expected that the Cupertino firm will unveil standalone Music, Podcast and TV apps for the venerable operating system.
Thanks to 9to5Mac‘s Guilherme Rambo, we have leaked screenshots of what the Music and TV apps should look like. Rambo says that his sources tell him the screenshots are the real thing, rather than mockups. He has excellent sources, so there’s no reason to doubt it.
The new Music app is said to be based on iTunes, and the screenshot shows that it shares a similar design. The screenshot shows Apple Music sections including For You, Browse, and Radio down the left side, with playback controls along the top.
The new TV app screenshot shows a top toolbar, with Watch Now, Movies, TV Shows, Kids, and Library sections. The left-hand sidebar shows Library options, including Recently Added, Movies, TV Shows, and Downloaded along with genres such as Action and Adventure, Comedy, Drama, and Kids.
While the screenshots don’t include many embellishments they do give a peek at what to expect from the apps.
Apple is expected to debut macOS 10.15, possibly nicknamed “Mammoth,” at the WWDC 2019 keynote at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Monday.
