Feral Interactive’s ‘Rome: Total War – Barbarian Invasion’ Now Available on the iPhone

Feral Interactive today announced that that Barbarian Invasion, the standalone expansion for their popular historical strategy game ROME: Total War, is out now on iPhone. Barbarian Invasion was previously brought to iPad by Feral Interactive.

A century before the campaigns of ROME: Total War, Alexander ascends the Macedonian throne and embarks upon an audacious campaign to conquer the all-powerful Persian Empire. Players will lead their armies to unify the Greek city states, and then march across Central Asia, routing the Persian Empire to establish their legend as Alexander the Great, the most remarkable general of classical civilization.

Barbarian Invasion requires an iPhone 5s or later, iOS 12, and 4GB of free space to install. The full list of supported iPhones is below:

  • iPhone 5S
  • iPhone 6/6 Plus
  • iPhone 6S/6S Plus
  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 7/7 Plus
  • iPhone 8/8 Plus
  • iPhone X
  • iPhone XS/XS Max
  • iPhone XR
  • iPod Touch (6th Generation)

An Android version will be released in June.

Barbarian Invasion for iPhone is available from the App Store for $4.99 / £4.99 / 5,49€. It is a universal app, meaning that players who have previously purchased the game on iPad will be able to install it on their iPhone at no additional cost, and transfer their save games.
