Once again, Apple has extended the expiration date of its iPhone trade-in promotions around the world. The promos were set to expire February 17, but has been extended to March 25.
This likely signals yet another extension to the ‘limited time’ promotion worldwide. Still, outside of the US, customers can only benefit from the additional trade-in value at an Apple retail store.
The US is the only region where Apple offers the trade-in discount both at the Apple Online Store and brick-and-mortar locations. The US site has never said an explicit end date as it appears Apple is not legally required to state one in accordance with American law.
When this happened last month, the Japanese Apple site was the first one to be updated with a new expiration date, and other regions followed its lead soon after.
9to5Mac notes if the expiration date for the promos continues worldwide through March, Apple’s “limited time” promotion will have lasted for four months.
