How Did Your Fellow Viewers Move Through Netflix’s ‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’? Some Stats

While “choosing your own adventure” watching Netflix’s Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, did you wonder which path other viewers were taking? Netflix has let us in on a few tidbits about the paths chosen by others.

io9 shares some results:

Several official Netflix Twitter and Black Mirror Twitter accounts went mad this evening, listing a bunch of random facts, which you can now read here:

  • “On the biggest day of Stefan’s life, over 60% of his friends from the future fed him Frosties.” – @BlackMirror
  • “Compared to the rest of the world, Brits were *less* likely to waste a good cup of tea (obviously). Bandersnatchers in Britain chose “throw tea” only 52.9% of the time. The rest of the world do so 55.9% of the time. – @NetflixUK
  • “73% chose to ACCEPT the job at Tuckersoft.” – @Netflix
  • “Out of the 5 main endings, the one where Stefan goes on the train with his mum *fights tears* was the path least traveled.” – @NXonNetflix

Which paths did you take through the innovative episode? Did you opt for the Frosties or the Sugar Puffs? I was always a Sugar Puffs man myself.

Personally, I made the decision not to watch the episode, since it wouldn’t work on my Apple TV. Instead, I opted to play the Black Mirror: Bandersnatch ‘Nohzdyve ‘ ZX Spectrum game in a ZX Spectrum emulator on my Mac. Which then led to downloading other Spectrum games, and then falling down into a 80s gaming rabbit hole for a few days.
