Apple Gives a Free iPhone XR to Ellen Show’s Entire Studio Audience

In what is a first time for the Cupertino firm, Apple partnered with The Ellen Show to give a free iPhone XR to every member of the show’s studio audience.

The giveaway took place on a recent episode starring guest Julia Roberts, who participated in a little skit leading up to the giveaway, where the duo played the popular game, “Heads Up”. After doing an incredibly bad job of reading the teleprompter to share some of the iPhone XR’s features (while taking selfies), Ellen announced everyone in the audience would be getting a free iPhone XR. Unbridled joy ensues, and Comet loses his pants. (Just watch the video.)

9to5Mac:

The YouTube description says ‘Special thanks to: Apple IPhone XR’ (yes, with that capitalization) so Apple was definitely involved in the promotion/ad.
