Those lucky folks in New Zealand and Australia are the first to receive their new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 deliveries. Due to time zone differences it is already launch day there. (Yes, they live in the future!)
Thanks to Twitter, Instagram, and other online sources, we know that New Zealanders are already receiving their new devices.
New Zealanders don’t have any Apple retail stores inside their borders, so they have to rely on delivery for their new Apple device fix. However, Australians do have access to Apple retail locations, so we’ll also be seeing postings from down under as customers lineup to try their luck at Apple Stores.
While New Zealanders and Australians get the first crack at the new iPhones and the Apple Watch Series 4, Asia, Europe, and yes, North America will be lining up at local stores, or will be stalking their delivery folks both online and on the streets, as they eagerly await the deliveries of their new preciouses.
Apple Stores open at 8:00am local time, and that’s when customers will begin pouring into stores to pick up reserved handsets and wearables, or to try their luck at grabbing one from store stock.
While Apple will likely have some supplies of new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 devices for walk-ins, supplies of selected devices will be limited. So, get there early if you’re going to test your luck.
