Leaked images of Apple’s upcoming Apple Watch Series 4 models show smaller bezels allowing for a larger display. The images were obtained by 9to5Mac.
The new images give us an excellent idea of what to expect when Apple officially unveils the new wearables at the upcoming September 12 press bash.
As can be seen above, the new Apple Watch Series 4 models will boast smaller bezels, providing space for a larger display. The increased screen real estate allows for complications arranged in a round watch face configuration.
Rumors about the upcoming wearables have indicated the displays of the devices are approximately 15% larger, allowing for more information to be displayed on the screen. Eight complications can be seen on the display of the device.
The image shows a shiny gold Apple Watch, which at least appears to be shinier than current models. While this might suggest a gold finished stainless steel option could be on the way, it could also just appear to be shinier in the image.
The Digital Crown has a more subtle indication for LTE models, as the crown has a red outline in place of the full red dot on this year’s LTE-capable models. Also show in the pic is a new hole below the Digital Crown, which some have speculated could be a new microphone.
While the image above offers a good look at the new Apple Watch Series 4, we’ll likely have to wait until Apple’s media event on September 12 at 10:00am Pacific time to find out all the details about the new wearable. The Apple Watch Series 4 will be unveiled alongside the 2018 iPhone lineup. MacTrast will share all the goings-on at the event, so stay tuned.
