Google’s video calling app, Google Duo is rolling out iPad and Android tablet support. This will finally allow tablet users across both platforms to communicate with their friends and family, no matter which platform or device they use.

While the iPhone and Android smartphone versions of the app would work on iPads and Android tablets, the formatting wasn’t correct for the device’s larger screens. The new version of the app are designed to make use of the device’s larger screen real estate.
Engadget reports the iPad version of the app is brand-spanking new, but the Android tablet version has been available to some users for awhile, due to a limited rollout by Google earlier this summer.
