Apple is now offering customers one-on-one tutorial sessions over the phone with a “Photos expert,” for training on how to use the image editing tools in the Photos app on the Mac and iOS devices.
The Photos app helps you organize and share your growing collection of photos and videos. It also includes a built-in set of editing tools that can improve your photos dramatically with one click, or let you fine-tune all the details.
Our specially trained Apple Support Advisors are experts in using Photos to transform pictures from good to amazing — and they’d love to show you how in a 30-minute guided phone session.
Hopefully, customers will be able to follow instructions without being guided in person, as the sessions will be conducted over the phone.
You’ll have 30 minutes one-on-one with a Photos expert who’ll describe how to edit pictures from your own collection. They’ll tailor the session to your skill level and show you how to get the results you want.
Your session guide will cover all the editing tools Photos offers — from the one-click fix of the Auto Enhance tool, to detailed light and color adjustments. We’ll even help you edit your Live Photos and images taken in Portrait mode. You’ll also learn how to crop and filter your photos, and revert your adjustments if you want to start over.
Customers are instructed to update their iOS devices or Macs to the latest versions of the operating systems, and to call using a speakerphone or headphones so they’ll have their hands free to access editing tools in the Photos app.
