New iPad Ads Illustrate Multiple Uses for New 9.7-inch iPad

Apple on Monday posted four new 15-second ad spots promoting its lower-cost 9.7-inch iPad as being perfect for education and travel.

The ads are titled Travel SimplyOrganized NotesPaperless Paperwork, and All Your Stuff, and show how the tablet can be used as a textbook replacement in the classroom, as a laptop replacement while traveling, and how it can be used to complete paperwork in the office.

Apple debuted the $329 sixth-generation, Apple Pencil-compatible iPad at a March education event held in Chicago. The lower-priced tablet provides a less-expensive alternative to educators who need Apple Pencil support but aren’t willing or able to pay the higher price of the iPad Pro.
