Apple on Monday updated its Swift Playgrounds app to version 2.1, debuting new features for the popular iPad app that teaches children and adults to code using interactive lessons based on the Swift programming language.
New features in the app include a “What’s Next” feature that suggests additional playgrounds based on the user’s performance. The update also introduces support for macOS content caching.
What’s New
• What’s Next suggests other playgrounds to try based on your progress so far
• Support for macOS content caching to speed downloads in networks with multiple Swift Playgrounds users
Version 2.1 of Swift Playgrounds comes three months after the debut of version 2.0 of the popular coding app. Version 2.0 was a big update that included support for subscribing to third-party playgrounds, and support for robots, and more.
