If your iPhone is running slow, and you’re not near an Apple retail store or you’re not much for do-it-yourself, you can have an iPhone battery replacement performed for the low price of just $27.99 at an Office Depot or OfficeMax store. The promotion runs until February 4.
The short-term $27.99 price at Office Depot and OfficeMax is reduced from the typical cost of $49.99, likely as a response to Apple’s own price drop which runs throughout 2018.
It should be noted that the office supply stores are not Apple Authorized Service Providers, and the new batteries are not Apple-supplied replacement parts. This means your iPhone’s warranty could be voided. However, Office Depot/OfficeMax does offer a one-year guarantee of its own.
