iFixit’s iPhone X ‘X-Rays’ Wallpapers Allow Users a Unique View of Their Device

As you probably already know, iFixit provides a great service soon after the release of new products, carefully tearing down each new device so the general public can get a peek inside. Now the teardown king is allowing iPhone X users to peek inside their devices no matter where they are, via a unique set of wallpapers.

iFixit:

With these sweet wallpapers, you can basically pretend you’re looking straight through the screen and into the heart of your phone—like you have X-ray vision. And speaking of X-rays—this year, we have two internals options for you: a gorgeous, high-resolution image and an X-ray image of your iPhone X insides. By the way, the edge-to-edge display makes this set of wallpapers especially slick.

The wallpapers will work as both Still and Perspective wallpapers. Here’s how to download them to your iPhone X:

For best results, navigate to this blog post on your phone. Find the image you want as your wallpaper and click on the photo for the full resolution. Then, save the image onto your phone. You can set the wallpaper from “Wallpapers” in your phone’s Settings—“Choose a New Wallpaper” lists your recent photos, including downloads.

The new wallpapers are available via the iFixit Blog. The company says they soon be making iPhone 8/8 Plus internal wallpapers available. Internal wallpapers for other iPhone models are available here at links near the bottom of the page.
