A deal between video streaming provider Hulu, and 20th Century Fox adds nearly 3,000 episodes of the venerable movie studio’s popular television shows to the Hulu library.
The deal was announced on the Hulu website on Wednesday, and give the video service streaming rights to episodes of long-running shows such as “M*A*S*H,” “Glee,” “Burn Notice,” “How I Met Your Mother,” and many more.
Through the agreement, Hulu’s offering will expand over the coming weeks with all episodes of popular series from 20th Century Fox including the following titles and many more:
Hit Comedies: How I Met Your Mother, Raising Hope, The Bernie Mac Show, Better Off Ted, Reba, Life in Pieces
Long-Running Dramas: NYPD Blue, Bones, Glee, Burn Notice, White Collar, The Practice
Iconic Series: M*A*S*H, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, St. Elsewhere, Hill Street Blues, The Bob Newhart Show
Fan Favorites: Don’t Trust the B—in Apartment 23, The Grinder, Blue Collar, Saving Grace, Lie To Me, Graceland
Cult Hits: Dollhouse, Wilfred, The Glades
The deal also includes streaming rights to other as yet unannounced series.
Hulu already had a deal in place with Fox which granted them streaming rights to popular animated content, such as “American Dad!,” “Futurama,” “Bob’s Burgers,” and other animated content from the Fox vault.
Hulu already had exclusive on-demand video streaming rights to a large number of Fox titles including “This Is Us,” “Fresh Off the Boat,” “Empire,” “The Last Man on Earth,” “Homeland,” and more.
