While the default browser for macOS is the quite capable Safari browser, many users prefer Chrome, Firefox, or even Opera as their default go-to browser. Here’s how to quickly set which browser will be your default.
Note: This how-to assumes you have more than one browser installed on your Mac. (DUH!)
Now, whenever you click a URL in an email or other document, it will automatically load in your selected browser. Whenever you decide to try out a different browser as your default browser, simply follow the steps above and quickly change the default.
