Apple on Tuesday released iTunes 12.5.4, an update for their media management app. The update brings support for the new TV app that was introduced in iOS 10.2 and tvOS 10.1 earlier this week. It also adds support for the MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar, using it to quickly fast forward and rewind through media, including movies, television shows, and songs.
Apple’s new TV app acts as central hub for movie and television shows on the Apple TV and iOS devices. The app offers a central guide to content for viewers. While Apple mentions added support for the TV app in the iTunes update, it does not go into details.
iTunes 12.5.4 can be downloaded using via the “Update” tab in the Mac App Store, or it can be downloaded via the Apple website.
