One of my favorite features, even though it’s a little thing, of the fourth-generation Apple TV are the high-definition aerial screen savers that appear on the screen after a certain period of inactivity. The screen savers include a number of different views of various locales around the world.
The Apple TV screen saver grabs the videos from a data source owned by Apple. The Cupertino firm recently updated the repository with 21 new screen savers, including video captured in China, Dubai, Greenland, Hong Kong, Liwa, and Los Angeles.
iDownloadBlog’s Mr. Jim Gresham has grabbed the links to the new files, and shared them with the world. Even though the videos can usually only be viewed on the Apple TV, the direct links allow iOS and Mac users to enjoy them too. (Thanks iDownloadBlog and Jim.)

If you’re an Apple TV owner, you likely won’t see these immediately, as the Apple TV downloads new screen saver content depending on your Apple TV settings. The download intervals can be set to daily, weekly, or monthly in the Settings app on your Apple TV.
Thanks again to iDownloadBlog for the links. Be sure to visit their site, for instructions on how to add the Apple TV screen savers to you Mac.
