Amazon will slash its annual Amazon Prime membership price from $99 down to $79 for one day only, Friday, November 18. The one day deal is available for new members only, and will run from 12AM Eastern to 11:59PM Eastern. Amazon customers in the UK can take advantage of a similar deal today, with a one-year Prime membership going for £59, down from the usual £79.
The deal is celebrate the release of Amazon’s new “The Grand Tour” car guys show, featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, the popular trio who left the similarly themed BBC series “Top Gear” in 2015. The first episode of the new series debuts on the Amazon Prime video streaming service on Friday.

Amazon Prime membership offers a number of benefits, including free two-day delivery on many items, video and music streaming, unlimited cloud storage for your photos, access to borrowing books from the Kindle lending Library, and early access to “Lightning” deals, including upcoming Black Friday deals.
In addition, members get access to “Audible Channels,” where they can listen to ad-free podcasts, news, comedy shows, talks and articles, as well as a selection of Prime-exclusive free audiobooks. Twitch Prime is also available, and allows Prime members to enjoy free game content every month and exclusive discounts on new release and preorder boxed video games. Members also receive a discount on subscriptions to Amazon’s new Music Unlimited music streaming service, which goes head to head with Apple Music.
