The third beta seed of tvOS 10.1 – build 14U5582b – is also currently available to developers. The beta includes the much-awaited Single Sign-On capabilities for cable users, but not the “TV” app, which debuted at Apple’s October 27 event.

Users must connect the Apple TV to to a computer with a USB-C to USB-A cable, and install the update via iTunes or Apple Configurator. However, once a beta profile has been installed on the device, new beta releases are available over the air.
Also released on Monday was a new second beta for Xcode 8.2, the new beta – build 8C30a – is available for download from the Apple Developer Center. The new beta includes the SDKs for iOS 10.2 beta, macOS 10.12.2 beta, watchOS 3.1.1 beta, and tvOS 10.1 beta. The Xcode 8.2 beta requires OS X 10.11.5 or later.
