Apple Stores Eliminating Lead Creative Role in Favor of new ‘Creative Pro’ Position

Apple has told its retail employees that the Lead Creative role at store locations is being phased out, and current staff that hold the position will be transitioned to the role of Creative as part of the move.

MacRumors:

… A source said pay will remain the same for existing leads, but their current leadership responsibilities will be slowly removed.

The changes should take effect by mid-November for all stores accepting Apple’s flagship stores. MacRumors source indicates pay will remain the same for the existing leads, but they’ll be slowly relieved of their leadership responsibilities.

Apple introduced the new “Creative Pro” position less than three months ago. Retail staff holding the position are the most knowledgeable among the staff about all of the Cupertino firm’s products and services. The team members will be available on the sales floor to aid customers with advice and sharing of their expertise about the devices and computers.
