T-Mobile announced on Wednesday that it will give a free 32GB iPhone 7 to new or existing customers, when they pre-order the phone, and trade in their iPhone 6, 6s, 6 Plus, or 6s Plus. The offer is for a “limited time,” and will be available via T-Mobile.com and T-Mobile retail stores when pre-orders are available.
if you want an iPhone 7 model other than the base 32GB model, T-Mobile says they’ll work with you on that, offering the 32GB iPhone 7 Plus for just $120 with a trade in, or the 128GB and 256GB iPhone 7 models for $100 and $200, respectively. Other models are comparable.
In order to qualify for the offer, the iPhone you’re trading in is required to be an iPhone 6, 6s, 6 Plus, or 6s Plus. It must be able to power up, and have no water damage, or a shattered screen. Customers will need to sign a 24-month no-cost finance agreement, where T-Mobile will credit the customer’s bill for the financed monthly payment each month. At the end of 24 months, you’ve got a free iPhone 7, and didn’t pay anything. (Or you’ve paid very little if you opt for something other than the base 32GB iPhone 7.) You can walk away from the deal anytime, but you’ll have to either pay the outstanding balance on the device, or give it back to T-Mobile.
