Number 3 and 4 wireless providers T-Mobile and Sprint continue to battle it out, as Sprint has announced a free 32GB iPhone 7 deal to match the one announced by the Magenta Network earlier today. Sprint is taking things a step further, offering a 256GB iPhone 7 for the price of the 128GB model online while supplies last during pre-orders.
Sprint’s deal requires customers to trade-in their old iPhone 6/6 Plus, iPhone 6s/6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and in addition they’ll need to sign-up for any of the Sprint service plans. Just like T-Mobile’s scheme, customers will get the freebie via monthly bill credits, so they’ll need to stay onboard with Sprint for the full 24 months worth of installments. To get the deal, they’ll need to activate a new line of service, or be eligible for an upgrade.
Sprint is also offering a 256GB iPhone 7 for the price of a 128GB model, via online order, while pre-orders last. That knock $100 off the price of a 256GB iPhone 7, bringing the price down to $749. Pre-orders will kickoff on Sprint’s website on Friday, Sept. 9 at 12:01AM Pacific Time (3:01AM Eastern Time), and also in stores on September 16 when the iPhone 7 launches officially.
