Sports Illustrated got their professional paws on an iPhone 7 Plus, and the result is a number of beautiful photos that’s only going to make you want Apple’s dual-camera flagship iPhone even more than you already do.
The photos shown on this page were taken by pro SI photographer David Klutho both before and during yesterday’s Titans-Vikings NFL game on Sunday. The game was the season opener for both teams. The photos were posted on Twitter by Apple CEO Tim Cook.
The photos show Titans players, and their controversial “salute” given during the national anthem, as well as country music star Billy Ray Cyrus as he delivered said anthem. Other shots are from during the game, and show a spectacular ability to capture the high-flying action.
The iPhone 7 Plus and its dual-lens camera system were a highlight of last week’s Apple media event. The new handset offers dual backside shooters, which boasting both a wide-angle and close-up lens, offering the ability to achieve 10X zoom.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus kicked off last Friday, and the first handsets should start making their way into anxious buyers’ hands later this week. Some of the more popular models of the new devices (such as the jet black iPhone 7 Plus) having shipping dates stretching into November.
There is no truth to the claim that the SI photog inadvertently captured a shot of a Titans fan charging his Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the stands, as seen above. (We’re kidding. We kid. We’re kidders.)
