Apple’s System Status page currently shows that both the App Store and the iTunes Store are down for some users. It looks like there have been issues since just after 1:00PM Pacific Time.
While we haven’t experienced any issues in either store, a number of users have complained of a lack of access. The outage definitely sucks for anyone who picked up their new iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus earlier today and are trying to set it up and download apps to it.
It looks like this might go on for awhile. We’ll keep you posted.
