Tapbots, developers of popular Twitter client Tweetbot, have released a public beta version of Pastebot, their upcoming full-featured clipboard manager for the Mac.
The new app allows Mac users to easily access recently copied items, as well as allow saving frequently pasted items. Pastebot offers a fully featured user interface, along with features like filtering specific items from being saved.
While Apple is including a universal clipboard feature in the upcoming macOS Sierra operating system update, which allows copying and pasting between Macs and iOS 10 devices, the new Pastebot app will work side-by-side with that new system feature, offering a number of other sync features that will be available once the app is up for sale in the Mac App Store.
At the moment, Tapbots is running a public beta, just to get user feedback and such, and is available for a free download at the Tapbots website.
