The 10th anniversary iPhone, which will be released in 2017, and is believed to be a radical redesign of current models, will not feature a Home Button, says a report from Bloomberg.

Apple is already at work on a major redesign of the iPhone for 2017 that focuses more heavily on the display by removing the Home button, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Previous rumors have indicated the “iPhone 8” – which will debut in the fall of 2017 – will feature a radical design, including an edge-to-edge flexible OLED display, which would eliminate the top and bottom bezels, where such features as the Home button, (with its Touch ID fingerprint sensor), and the front-facing camera are located.
Rumors have indicated that the functionality of the Home button, (including Touch ID), would instead be built into the display itself. Apple designers, led by design chief Jony Ive, have long desired to create an iPhone that looks like a single sheet of glass, and it looks as if 2017 is when they’ll get their wish.
Other rumors have indicated the 10th anniversary Apple handset will feature a display with curved edges on both sides, a glass body, and possibly wireless charging. Other rumors indicate an enhanced Taptic Engine, and new biometric capabilities, such as iris scanning or facial recognition could also be part of the design.
