Apple on Thursday released iOS 9.3.4, an update to their iOS 9 mobile operating system. The new update comes just two weeks after iOS 9.3.3, and provides an “important security update.” The update is recommended for all devices running iOS 9. However, users running the Pangu iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak should beware.
iOS 9.3.4 is available as an over-the-air download to all devices running iOS 9. iOS 9.3.4 could be the last iOS 9 update we’ll see, as iOS 10 is expected to be released to the public sometime next month.
As mentioned above, iOS 9.3.4 fixes an exploit used by the Pangu iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak. In the update’s support document, Apple credits Team Pangu with discovering a vulnerability related to a memory corruption issue.
