Mac Broadcaster, makers of the popular Broadcaster for YouTube app, have released JustBroadcaster for Facebook 1.5.3, which allows users to live-stream their Mac desktop and iOS device to Facebook.
Users can be on the air in just a few minutes, as they simply run the JustBroadcaster for Facebook app, give it the necessary permissions, select the video and audio sources, and click the “ON AIR” button. Video can be streamed to a user’s Timeline, their Pages, or Groups. Broadcasters can decide who will see the video stream, be it a Public stream, just for friends, or even just their own account. (For the narcissists among us, I suppose.)
The video source can be a user’s desktop, their iSight camera or other webcam, a selected app, a connected iOS device, or even a graphic file. The sound source can be the Mac’s built-in microphone, a USB mic, or any other connected sound source.
