Twitter Photo Stickers on the Way to iOS App

Because there just aren’t enough ways to put stickers on your digital photos, Twitter on Monday announced it will soon offer digital photo stickers in its mobile apps. The feature will allow Twitterites to customize their uploaded images with Twitter-supplied graphics.

Twitter Blog:

Soon, you can browse our rotating sets of stickers to join in on real-time conversations, and select from the library of hundreds of accessories, emoji, and props to make your photos more fun. Use them to share what you’re doing or how you’re feeling, to show support for a cause, or to just add some flair. You can use multiple stickers on a photo, resize and rotate them, and place them anywhere on your picture.

The feature will rollout to iOS and Android app users “over the next few weeks.” While editing a photo in the Twitter app before publishing it, users will see a new “Stickers” tab, where they’ll find various emoji, props, and things of a similar type, that they can use to customize their photos, making them unique, just like every other Twitter user’s creations.

After you Tweet a photo with stickers on it, your photo becomes searchable in a new, visual spin on the hashtag. Tapping on a sticker in a Tweet takes you to a new timeline, where you can see how people all over the world use that sticker in different ways.

Twitterites will also be able to view and click stickers on Twitter.com, but they can only be used in the app, for now. The Twitter app for iOS is available in the App Store. [GET IT HERE]
