Remotix 4.0 Allows Users to Remotely Control Mac and PCs From a Local Mac Desktop

Nulana LTD has released Remotix 4.0, an update to their popular remote control application for Mac OS X. The app offers complete remote control capabilities, with screen sharing, file transfers, SSH tunneling support, and more.

New Version 4.0 Features

Version 4.0 brings a number of improvements to the app, including a long-awaited RDP feature for business users, a new automatic reconnect feature, a “Superzoom” feature that allows users to overzoom a remote screen, and new load-balancing configurations.

The Connection Information Panel now offers a HUD display of current connection parameters, including current rate, total bytes used, and total time connected. A new VeNCrypt TLS Authentication feature supports TLS VeNCrypt, the authentication used by ProxMox, TurboVNC and others.

Remotix is compatible with any RDP server, Apple Screen Sharing, RealVNC, x11vnc, UltraVNC, TigerVNC, TightVNC, and VMWare. It also offers a Remotix Cloud feature that allows users to access any computer from anywhere, via the Remotix Cloud web interface.

Remotix 4.0 is only $39.99 USD (or an equivalent amount in other currencies) for a personal license, and is available in the App Store, as well as through the Remotix website. Also available is the Professional license for $79.99, the Site license, which permits unlimited number of users and installations on a single site for $799, and a Multisite license, which permits unlimited users and installations on multiple sites for $2399.
