Burger King Has Just the Thing for Junk Food/Mac n’ Cheese Lovers

While we usually restrict our coverage to Apple-related news items, this was too good not to tell you about. Southern California Burger King restaurants are offering up something we didn’t know we couldn’t live without until we saw it: Mac n’ Cheetos, which are Cheetos powder-dusted mozzarella sticks filled with deep-fried macaroni and cheese.

The Verge:

Just $2.49 will get you a 5-piece order of these coagulated orange clumps of processed cheese, and they come with ranch dressing dipping sauce because The Burger King knows taste. It’s only available in select Burger Kings in Southern California for now, but if we all work together, we can make this a permanent thing. We can do this, you guys!

The Review

The video below shows one lucky fast food reviewer who got his hands, (and mouth), on some of the deep-fried beauties. He seems to like them well enough, describing them as lightly crisp, with a very heavy cheddar hit, similar to The Cheesecake Factory’s fried mac n’ cheese balls.

If any of our SoCal readers happen to hit the BK today for some of this cheesy mac goodness, we’d love to hear your opinion of how they taste. Just be sure to wipe the Cheetos dust off of your fingers before you begin typing…
