Apple Maps has added public transit information for Denver, Colorado users on both iOS and OS X. The company continues to slowly expand the app’s support for public transit info in various cities.
The app now offers users information about Denver’s bus and light rail transit systems, mixing-and-matching as needed to provide multiple route options.
The transit information feature was added to Apple’s Maps app in 2015, alongside the debut of iOS 9. The company has slowly added coverage for additional cities in the time since then.
In addition to Denver, Apple currently offers transit directions for:
- Austin, TX
- Baltimore, MD
- Berlin, Germany
- Boston, MA
- Chicago, IL
- China
- London, England
- Los Angeles, CA
- Mexico City, Mexico
- Montréal, Canada
- New York City, NY
- Philadelphia, PA
- Portland, OR
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Sacramento, CA
- San Francisco, CA
- Seattle, WA
- Sydney, Australia
- Toronto, Canada
- Washington, DC
Apple’s iOS 9 features page doesn’t display all of the cities currently supported by the feature, but it typically lags behind in posting recently added cities. Recent additions not listed as yet include Atlanta, Denver, Miami, New South Wales (Australia), and regions serviced by the U.K.’s National Rail system.
