Apple is featuring a special “Summer of Apple Pay,” App Store section for apps that use Apple Pay for payment from within the app. In a number of cases, the apps offer a discount or other special deal for using the mobile payments service.

The section is split up into various categories, including:
- “Great Deals This Week” – This category includes featured apps that offer special deals or discounts when you use Apple Pay to pay for goods or services via the app. Apps include movie ticket purchasing app Fandango, GrubHub and Seamless food delivery apps, grocery delivery app Instacart, and parking spot reservation app SpotHero.
- “Shop Popular Brands” – The category includes app from such famous brands as: Kohl’s, Poshmark, Under Armour, Warby Parker, Zappos, and more. These apps also offer a discount or deal when using Apple’s mobile payments service to pay for your purchases.
- “Get Food Delivered” – GrubHub, Seamless, Caviar, Instacart, Yelp Eat 24, and DoorDash are the food delivery options for those times when you’re hungry, but you don’t want to get up off the couch and have to find your billfold.
- “Get Around Town” – Apps that offer transportation, or a spot to park your own mode of transportation, include Uber, SpotHero, PaybyPhone, and Parking Panda.
- “Fun Things to Do” – Entertainment apps, such as Fandango, Ticketmaster, and Gametime are here. Use Touch ID to pay for your movie or sports night out, and save.
- “Plan Your Vacation” – Use Apple Pay to get a hotel room, a flight, or rental car with the Expedia and Hotel Tonight apps, and score great discounts.
- “Order Food to Go” – Use Apple Pay to buy or refill a Dunkin’ Donuts or Chick-fil-A card. Dunkin’ Donuts will give you 50 bonus points when you use Apple Pay to refill or purchase a Dunkin’ Donuts card.
