Apple released the tvOS 9.2.1 and watchOS 2.2.1 updates to the public on Monday, offering bug fixes and security patches on both devices.
The tvOS 9.2.1 update can be installed via the Settings menu on the fourth-generation Apple TV, while the tvOS 2.2.1 update can be installed on the Apple Watch, via the “Watch” app on a connected iPhone running the latest version of iOS 9, iOS 9.3.2.
The release notes accompanying both updates indicate they consist of under-the-hood bug fixes and security patches, with no out facing improvements or added functionality. We shouldn’t expect any new features for either device until Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2016 in June, where new versions of the OS X, iOS, tvOS, and watchOS operating systems are expected to be unveiled.
