Apple on Wednesday released the fourth update for its Safari Technology Preview experimental web browser. The browser is intended for use by developers to experience features that may someday be used in a public release version of the browser.
Release 4 includes a laundry list of updates and bug fixes related to networking, media, JavaScript, CSS, web APIs, the Web Inspector, rendering, and accessibility.
Safari Technology Preview Release 4 is available through the Mac App Store for users who already have the browser installed on their machines. New users can download the preview from the Safari Technology Preview website.
While the preview is intended for use by developers and advanced users, the browser can be ran side-by-side with the release version of Safari, and doesn’t require a developer account to download and install.
