Apple on Monday uploaded two new ads to YouTube touting the features of its iPhone, including Touch ID, and the 4K video capabilities of the iPhone 6s.
“Fingerprint,” highlights the many uses for Touch ID in addition to simply unlocking an iPhone 5s or newer device. The ad, accompanied by the usual humorous narration, shows users opening passcode protected apps, checking into their flights, signing documents (“I bought a boat!”), making purchases with Apple Pay, and even starting their car, with just a touch of the Home Button on their iPhone
Video #2 shows off the 4K video functionality of the iPhone 6s/6s Plus, as a young girl close-up videos her mother slicing a red onion. Her video, “Onions,” goes viral, eventually receiving a prestigious award, presented to her by everyone’s favorite award show host, Doogie Howser, Barney Stinson, Neil Patrick Harris.
The new ads are just the latest in a long string of ads created by Apple to show off the features of its iPhone lineup. To view them all, visit the Apple YouTube channel.
