A recent iPhone 6s ad featured the always entertaining Cookie Monster baking his favorite treat, with the assistance of always-on “Hey Siri.”
The spot has proven to be one of the most popular ads in Apple’s recent history, (with over 9 million views), so it’s not surprising the company has decided to milk the ad just a bit more by giving us a “Behind the Scenes” peek at Cookie Monster as he shoots the ad.
The video shows some footage from before, during, and after the shooting of the ad, and includes an entertaining vignette where the child-like furry blue creature asks Siri, “Is it ready yet? How ’bout now? How ’bout now? How ’bout now?” He then experiences “ghost cookies.” Of course there is the required manic excitement when the cookies are ready, followed by a cookie munching frenzy. The video closes with an exhausted Cookie Monster telling Siri good night.
The Cookie Monster spot is just the latest in a series of celebrity-laden ads for the iPhone 6s and its features. But it certainly the most entertaining one so far.
