Apple has seeded the second beta of iOS 9.3.2 and watchOS 2.2.1 to developers for testing. The releases come two weeks after the release of both operating systems’ first betas.
iOS 9.3.2 Beta 2 – Build 13F61 – is available for over-the-air downloading or from the Apple Developer Center.
Unlike iOS 9.3, which was a major update that debuted Night Shift mode and a number of other feature improvements, iOS 9.3.2 is a minor update containing under-the-hood performance bumps and bug fixes for issues discovered since the release of iOS 9.3.
However, MacRumors notes that iOS 9.3.2 beta 2 brings back a much desired feature, the ability to use Low Power Mode and Night Shift at the same time. Early iOS 9.3 betas allowed Night Shift and Low Power Mode to work simultaneously, but it was removed in iOS 9.3 beta 4.
We’ll keep you posted on anything else we discover new in the beta. If you discover any new features or changes, please share them in the comments section below.
It isn’t clear what exactly the new watchOS 2.2.1 beta holds as far as new features and such, but it’s likely the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements. We’ll let you know in the area below if we find anything else out about the new Apple Watch OS beta.
The watchOS 2.2.1 developer beta – Build 13V420 – Can be installed to an Apple Watch via the Watch app on the iPhone, running the latest iOS 9.3.2 beta. (Beta 2.) Once the Watch app has loaded, go to: “General” -> “Software Update” to download the new beta. To install the update, make sure the Apple Watch is connected to a charger, has at least 50% battery left, and is in range of the iPhone.
