Apple Releases Third Beta of iOS 9.3.2 to Public Beta Testers

Apple on Wednesday released the third beta build of iOS 9.3.2 to its public beta testers. Apple released the second beta of the operating system to developers on Tuesday.

Unlike iOS 9.3, which was a major update that debuted Night Shift mode and a number of other feature improvements, iOS 9.3.2 is a minor update containing under-the-hood performance bumps and bug fixes for issues discovered since the release of iOS 9.3. However, beta 2 did fix a Game Center bug that has plagued some users for awhile, plus it brought back the ability to use Night Shift and Low Power Mode simultaneously.

So far it looks like the new version is intended as a bug fixes and performance enhancement update, as no new features have been discovered so far. That can be expected, as it is a “point” update, which usually don’t include any groundbreaking new features or enhancements.

The new build is available via the Software update mechanism on iOS devices, exclusively for members of Apple’s Public Beta Tester Program who have the proper certificate installed on their device. (If you’re a Public Beta Tester, you know what that means…)

Users wishing to join the Apple Public Beta Tester program can sign up at Apple’s beta testing website.
