AMC this week has launched a tvOS app, offering free-to-stream episodes of some of its popular shows, including “The Walking Dead,” and “Better Call Saul.”
The free app was released Monday to little fanfare, but is now featured as a “Best New Apps” pick on the tvOS App Store…
The app, which runs on the fourth-generation Apple TV, offers full episodes of the network’s numerous original shows, along with bonus content, including behind-the-scenes peeks at the shows and its actors.
While Apple TV viewers can stream some episodes without signing in as a subscriber, (for example, the first three episodes of “The Walking Dead”), viewers must link their cable or satellite provider account to the app to access the entire catalog of AMC’s content.
AMC’s tvOS app is available on your Apple TV in the App Store.
