Apple on Monday sent emails to developers announcing a new iTunes Connect feature that allows developers to receive weekly App Analytics updates via email.
The email reads:
You can now opt in to receive a weekly App Analytics email report for your most frequently downloaded apps, with data on App Store Views, App Units, Sales, Sessions, and Crashes. You’ll also see how much each of these metrics has changed between last week and the previous week.
If interested, developers can opt in to the new weekly analytics emails by visiting “Notifications” in the “Users and Roles” area of the iTunes Connect Settings Menu.
Apple has recently been making efforts to improve their iTunes Connect developer hub, with a facelift for the hub back in September, as well as additional functionality, such as an option to schedule automated software releases. Most recently, the company added a new portal called Podcast Connect, which allows podcasters to validate, publish, and manage their podcasts.
