Apple Launches ‘Apple Support’ Twitter Account – Offers Tips and Customer Support

Apple has never had the social media presence most tech companies have, but the Cupertino firm appears to be taking at least one small step to remedy that, as it has launched an Apple Support Twitter account, (@AppleSupport), to offer tips, tricks, and customer support.

The account’s Twitter bio says: “We’re here to provide tips, tricks and helpful information when you need it most, and if you have a question, well – we’re here to help with that too.”

So far, the account has posted a tip about the Notes app, and how users can make use of it to turn lists into to-do checklists. Tweets following that all appear to be replies to support questions other Twitter users have begun submitting. In most cases, due to the Twitter 140-character message limit, the @AppleSupport account is asking users to Direct Message them, or refers them to a link on Apple’s support website.
