Apple has updated Apple Maps to include 23 new Flyover locations. The update adds cities in the United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, and more.
The Flyover feature offers Apple Maps users the opportunity to view photo-realistic 3D views of cities and landmarks. The view, created by satellite photos of the areas, offer the ability to pan, rotate, and zoom to get a close look at the supported areas.
The new Flyover locations are:

- Ajaccio, France
- Archon, France
- Bastia, France
- Besançon, France
- Blackpool, England
- Bonifacio, France
- Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
- Calvi, France
- Corte, France
- Ghent, Belgium
- Guaymas, Mexico
- Messina, Italy
- Mobile, AL, United States
- Newcastle, Australia
- Nottingham, England
- Porto-Vecchio, France
- Propriano, France
- Raleigh, NC, United States
- Salamanca, Spain
- San Sebastián, Spain
- Taichung, Taiwan
- Wichita, KS, United States
Handy Tips for Using Flyover View in the iOS Version of Maps:
- Pinch to zoom lets you zoom in and out on a map.
- Two-finger rotate turns the Map window and offers a 360-degree view.
- Two-finger drag tilts the Map window and shows you 3D and Flyover views.
On the Mac:
When in Satellite and Hybrid view, click the 3D icon in the lower right-hand corner of the map. Zoom in closer with the “+” and “-” icons to get more detail. Adjust the 3D tilt by clicking and holding on the 3D icon, and dragging up and down. Adjust the camera angle by clicking on the pointer of the compass while you drag around the screen.
Apple also added Maps traffic data for Malaysia and Singapore.
