ABBYY has updated FineScanner, their popular scanning app for iOS devices, to version 5.2. The new version adds the ability to digitize information from documents and books in 149 more languages, bringing the total languages supported to 193, including Arabic, Vietnamese and even Karakalpak.
ABBYY FineScanner allows users to scan and convert any document into digital PDF and JPEG files while retaining the formatting and layout of the original document, including titles, tables and styles. Saved documents can be printed, shared via email, saved to one of eight cloud storage services, or exported to a PDF application.
