A new photo has surfaced of a device said to be the latest version of the much-rumored new 4-inch iPhone. The device in question was photographed alongside an iPhone 5 for comparison purposes.
The device appears to be approximately the same size as an iPhone 5, but has a design more closely resembling an iPhone 6, with the sleep/wake button located on the side of the device. The shot was published by user “Gijs Raggers” at Dutch tech site OneMoreThing.nl.
While everyone pretty much agrees on the 4-inch screen size of the much-rumored “iPhone 6c” or “iPhone 5se,” depending on which rumors you subscribe to, the rest of the device’s specs are up for debate. Various reports have indicated the new handset would use either an A8 or A9 chip, it could have anywhere from 1GB to 2GB or RAM, and possibly Touch ID and Apple Pay.
As always, reports like this are merely rumors, and should be treated as such. Even photos of a device, such as the one shown above, should also be viewed with a jaundiced eye. We should know for sure if an improved 4-inch iPhone is indeed on its way from Apple sometime in March.
