Microsoft on Wednesday released an update for Office 2016 for Mac, bringing bug fixes and new features for all of the apps included in the suite. The update, v15.18.0, can be downloaded directly from Microsoft or installed via Office’s AutoUpdate system.
Outlook looks to have received the most update love, with the ability to go full screen in OS X Yosemite and El Capitan, allowing users to see multiple items side-by-side. Business users will also appreciate the ability to locate and reserve a free meeting room at a specific time.
Word can now save PDF files to flash drives. Excel and Powerpoint sport new selection panes that keep track of objects and allow users to rearrange them at will. OneNote now boasts support for the Shapes Gallery, with the ability to add shapes to pages.
All of the apps in the suite also received bug fixes. To install the updates, users must have an active Office 365 subscription.
