Apple says it will announce its fiscal first quarter of 2016 financial results on January 26. The three month period includes the all important holiday sales figures, as well as the first full quarter of sales for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
Apple’s Investor Relations webpage notes the publishing of the results will be followed by the usual conference call, usually headed up by Apple CEO Tim Cook, and CFO Luca Maestri.
Investors will be waiting to learn how the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s handsets have performed vs. the previous year’s models. During Apple’s most recent quarterly financial call in October, the company projected revenue of between $75.5 billion and $77.5 billion for the first quarter of 2016, with gross margins set at between 39 and 40%. Industry analyst have been less optimistic about Apple’s ability to maintain its explosive growth, cutting estimates for the coming year.
Apple first quarter 2016 earnings call is scheduled for January 26, at 2PM Pacific/5PM Eastern. As usual, MacTrast will cover the event. Be here, or be square.
