Apple will open its 30th retail store in China on January 30th. The store will be located in the SM Lifestyle Center shopping mall in Xiamen’s southeastern Siming District.
The new store’s hours will be 10AM to 10PM Monday through Sunday. The location will offer the usual Apple Store services, including a Genius Bar, Workshops, events, and seminars. Classes scheduled for Friday, Jan. 15, include basic lessons covering iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch devices, as well as Apple ID and iCloud. The store will be Apple’s 16th location in mainland China, it also has four locations in Hong Kong.
Apple is currently on an aggressive pace to open one store per month in China, opening number 27 in the Chaoyang Joy City shopping mall in Beijing in November, store number 28 in the MixC complex in the Qingxiu District of Nanning in December. Store number 29 is scheduled to open this Saturday in Shenyang, a city of just over 8 million people, and a major commercial hub for the country.
