Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour documentary is now available exclusively on Apple Music. It was filmed mostly at a stop at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Nov. 28, in front of 76,000 fans.
… The film features the entire performance of Swift’s show that night, as well as a variety of other footage. There are backstage clips from the entire tour, clips of rehearsals with the plethora of artists Swift brought out during the tour, and interviews with Swift and other members of her entourage.
The “New” tab in Apple Music is dominated by Swift, as a major portion of the tab shows only Taylor Swift music and videos to promote the exclusive streaming of the singer’s concert video.
While Swift and Apple Music got off to a rocky start, (Apple announced it wouldn’t pay artists during the service’s initial 3-month free trial period, prompting Taylor to write an open letter to Apple condemning the plans), the two quickly began to make beautiful music together once Apple’s Eddy Cue announced that Apple would pay for the music they streamed during the trial period.
